I had a sad day today. My Roosters son was being a little sweet heart then all of a sudden he turned and started chasing my 11 ducklings outside. I caught him today pinning one down and pecking at its head. I tryed to intervein but he kept at it with another duckling. So I had to shoot him!! I had to put down 2 of the ducklings that he had malled. I gave him several chances but he just kept getting meaner. This sucks cause he was very pretty and thick bodied.

Here is a pic of one of the buff dewlap (hatched 5/10) and behind him is stromy, the lone grey dewlap toulouse.



Here again are several buff dewlap toulouse juviniles, stormy, and thanksgiving, the turkey from March who has adoopted the young goslings, and hangs with them and sleeps with them at night in lockup.
