Hi all!

I haven't been on in awhile -- been super busy.

I asked this on the Ancona thread, but I know some of you have Anconas so I thought I'd ask here, too.

I have a drake with black markings on his head, but everywhere else is marked with chocolate. Is that considered a tri-color? Here's a head shot. That all I could get with my phone camera. He wouldn't hold still so I had to pick him up.

Also, I just discovered this blog written by David Thorne. It made me laugh. A lot.

I hope so. He's one of the 3 ducklings we hatched at home - first time hatching, too, so we're kind of attached. He isn't bothering anyone but the one drake. I may just split the ducks into 2 groups if he limits his bullying to just the one. If he starts to be aggressive with everyone, he'll have to go.

GQ and Dutch!

Love the pheasants!
Thanks guys. I know my runners are just hatchery, but I couldn't find any close and they are for hubby, to go with his drake we rescued so he has someone to hang out with. He's pretty much an outcast now, the calls want nothing to do with him and the rouen/khaki are mean to him. I'll be happy as long as they lay good, I miss having duck eggs to cook with.

I got the d'uccles because I want a sweet little bantam for the kids, and needed to order more than just 2 ducks.

Didn't want more than 2 ducklings though, I sure don't miss brooding these messy guys.
My blue ones are from Metzer....very nice birds. My son can't wait for them to start laying!

Jaz... Mom's roo is a silkie mix... not sure what with but he's a great dad and the roos usually inherit his comb so much easier to sex at a younger age

Charlie has 5 toes but cream color skin, Silkie feathers, personality and size
Wow, he's cool looking! I have a buff laced Seabright cross roo that is colored exactly like that.
