aaww thanks Marty, i like to research, and like to know i am feeding the best i can. Plus we are a science based family and having a super genius teenager makes life fun. I will suggest something or pose a question and then research and practical testing will commence.
Hi everyone!
My egg/baby didn't make it. It was chirping some so I thought it was almost ready and then it stopped making noises. So now there are three eggs left developing.![]()

Morning all,
Marty I would never feed young geese (under 3 months old) wheat, and would never give them chicken layer because of the added calcium for she'll production.
hatch to 4 weeks starter
over 4 weeks- 3 months maintenance and rolled oats
3 months plus maintenance and some of any of the following (wheat, oats (whole) BOSS, millet)
1 month before breeding season, through breeding season the above grains with layer feed
Then after breeding season stop the layer returning to maintenance as they don't need the layer the rest of the year.
