I just set 2 dozen Duck & another 7 ancona eggs from Eye

. Met up with her this morning for a duck swap

and traded me a purdy Blue Ancona Drake







The pair of Pekins were the ones that were traded for 2 male baby ducklings a couple weeks ago!

My bcm eggs went into lockdown last night. it is hard to tell for sure because of dark shells, but it loiks like there might be 6 eggs with development.

My eggs are on Day 28 They are wiggling but i dont see cracks yet, The wait is driving me crazy..lol

I ended up fallling in love with these purdy pigeons! I do not know what they !

I was planning on building a flight pen, and let my 7 year old daughter help care for them.

When you said pigeons I had no idea. Those are so freaking cool!

Jazz, I think your gaggle of geese are looking fit and well. It looks like they are young, and still filling out, but feathers look good and all is as expected.

Jazz, as Marty says they appear healthy. Hands on will tell you about weight since feathers hide that pretty well.

Hubby prefers the smooth breasted Sebbies too. Unfortunately they aren't reccognized in the US yet, and too many people are pasture breeding or not selectively breeding them. Their feathering is suffering from those breeding practices because of it. As are the head shapes, and necks when attention isn't paid to breeding groups.
