Jaz, I love your waterer, that is pretty much what I want to do. Where did you get the screen tops for the 55gal barrel?

I love your rain barrel! Ours are food grade plastic and still need to be attached to the drain spouts. Poor hubby has too many projects.

Ours is food grade too ~ I just paint them so they are not an ugly blue! Hunny do's ~ Yah we need to finfish the greenhouse, finish fencing the back run, gotta pluck some ducks n geese and ..... and .... and .....

I'm hatching for my first time...put 7 pekin/cayuga cross eggs in on the 24(am)... So they should hatch around 9/20 then decides 7 days later to hatch a couple chicken to see what would come out (blue Andalusian hens with RIR and/or silkie Roo) well at day 12 two of my duck eggs look clear to me... I'm giving it tip the 14th for sure all the others look good so far (I had a freak out on day two... Temp spiked to 112!! Figured the we're done for, But nope they look good duckies are jumping around when I check em. So far things look good! Keep your fingers crossed!

There was a big flock of blackbirds here today. Wonder if they are starting to migrate already? Guess I'll be dusting the chickens again soon.

Dang, that's awesome. I was hoping I could order them from some where. You guys sound like my wife and me. Always building or fixing something.
 
And a third BCM hatched!!!!

Here is the first baby. The other two are still drying in the incubator. Is the foot arched like that normal?
