Give my love to Skye for giving me one chance

I hope she'll recover from such a heavy moult. You've my thoughts as well. I'm about ready to jump out of my skin just getting eggs in here. Much less the hatch. Found three turkey eggs, here's hoping. The delaware breeder isn't answering emails, I may be delaware eggless for this round. Ah well. It is really late in the season.

As for failed hatches, BYCers shouldn't feel bad, yesterday was the second call I've gotten from professional hatcheries telling me a batch I expected failed. The Pro's don't do any better sometimes.

Well, later on, I will have Delaware eggs, so if you haven't found any by late winter, check back with me. Mine are just 12 weeks old now, but from good breeder stock. Skye is on the nest right now, so just maybe we'll get another egg from her, complete with shell.

If I don't get delaware eggs from this lady now, I will just wait for your girls to grow out. Getting eggs from good stock means more than getting just any eggs and I LIKE knowing the people I buy from.

I just hope Skye's moult is over quickly and she does better. I've got the bator right next to the computer. You know I'm NEVER going to move from this spot.

I dont know, Tori. This is a bad year for lots of things. They get the very best quality feeds and the proper supplements in their water (sometimes ACV, sometimes AviaCharge). Just a bad year.

Cynthia,
I hope everything gets better for you.

You are in my thoughts. Karen, (Lockedhearts) and I were just talking about how bad we both hated it for you that things were going so badly. We both wish you all the best!!!!

Thanks so much, Robin. Things will ease up, they just have to. I just dont want to lose all my oldest girls before their 3rd birthday. And cross your fingers that the two newbies who are now 12 weeks old will turn out well and be good ladies for Suede.
