I am so very sorry; I hope the pain will eventually diminish to a point where you don't feel the hate anymore. It is awful feeling.

Avalon, I'm so sorry for your loss. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes... Forgiveness often brings healing too, so I hope you'll be able to forgive him. Even so, it's so hard losing a family member. May God grant you peace.

Thank you Sharon for your concerns. I cannot and never will forgive. They say you cannot get away with murder and the German judicial system proved that you can… a whole 23 times. I am a happy person and I enjoy my new life to the fullest, I laugh and I love, I am grateful for what I have and look forward to the future. But part of me will always hate this man for what he did to all these families. I hope I did not offend you but that is how I feel.


I don't think your pain or anger could offend anyone! Remember - There is Someone far greater than the German authorities who is the final seeker of justice. He is the same one who cries with you and will right all wrongs in ways that are far greater than we can fathom. Trust that He will do what He promises - he does. The Lord is full of justice and mercy - and He doles it out as he sees fit each time. Forgiveness IS hard, and it will free you, but you won't ever forget, and that is OK. The first step is to give it to the Lord, He WILL make all things completely right - no question. I am sorry for your loss and so happy you have been blessed with another very special man to share your life with.
