I called the sheriff and wildlife officer they said it happens all the time up here and they wont do anything till I have photo evidence and I doubt the guy will put food out while I stand there with a camera

Not much for me to do I also cant trap and relocate in my area I can get a fine. Sooo... ya lol feel stuck with the only option being to shoot them to keep my kids and livestock safe but it sucks either way

Those people should at least get a warning of some type. At least education to what can happen. If they like wildlife, they are dooming it to death because of their behavior. And not just from people protecting their own animals.

What happens when they stop feeding these animals and they are no longer used to having to hunt? Children, household pets etc.

I have no problem protecting my animals from those that I can legally dispose of. I am all about conservation and protecting wildlife too.

Can the remains of the ones you trap somehow show up at their place? (not very nice but I get tired of people doing dumb things.)

Well when the fox killed on of my chickens the guy was on his porch I ran into the coop tried scaring the fox away from the fence and the guy just looked at me and waved. So when I caught either the fox that killed my chicken or its mate (there are two) I took the trap right over to where he could see it and killed the fox. I know he saw me and if he has a problem with it he can call the wildlife officers. He still fed the other one that night. Our property is over run with mice and rabbits its like the foxes and coyotes dont even try to hunt them anymore cause they know they will be getting a meal no matter what. It is seriously frustrating and honestly I fort knoxed my coop I am not so worried about my chickens anymore as I am for my kids. they are so scared to go outside it makes me sick I am so mad about the whole thing
