I bought a tray, for under a rabbit cage that holds about 2inches of water, but is low to the ground so they can just step in and out of it. I was planning on using that for them to play in, until they are ready for a bigger pool. I was planning on using kid-pools for them since I can dump them out fairly easily enough.![]()
Are not. If you use sand in the brooder and get a waterer that can be secured, they're no trouble at all. I just sift the sand 1-2x daily.
Yea they are amusing but dirty beasts.OMG yes, they are so dirty. I love watching their little butt wiggles though.
They vibrate when they shake their butt. It's amusing. hahaha
Waterer was always secure but they were still filthy beasts.![]()

I was debating on using the poop water for my garden areas. ;o It gets so hot here, that it bakes the poop by the afternoon.

I might be getting a cheap 70g stock tank, I may dig a hole to put it in and make it a duck pond![]()
I don't have enough acreage atm to have a pond. Maybe if I buy the 66 acres backing to my property, I could build one. It has the ability to be flooded for the hay fields, so I imagine I could get them to turn the water on long enough for to fill a pond.I might be getting a cheap 70g stock tank, I may dig a hole to put it in and make it a duck pond![]()
