Toddlers are Quackers

Maybe that's why none of mine do it cause they know they could be on the menu.
Ducks are filthy nasty beasts.
OMG yes, they are so dirty. I love watching their little butt wiggles though.

They vibrate when they shake their butt. It's amusing. hahaha

Are not. If you use sand in the brooder and get a waterer that can be secured, they're no trouble at all. I just sift the sand 1-2x daily.

I bought a tray, for under a rabbit cage that holds about 2inches of water, but is low to the ground so they can just step in and out of it. I was planning on using that for them to play in, until they are ready for a bigger pool. I was planning on using kid-pools for them since I can dump them out fairly easily enough.

I was debating on using the poop water for my garden areas. ;o It gets so hot here, that it bakes the poop by the afternoon.

Waterer was always secure but they were still filthy beasts.

Mine were angels, I didn't have to move them outside for quite some time. Even then it was only because there was no brooder big enough to hold three teenage welshies w/o overcrowding them severely.

I might be getting a cheap 70g stock tank, I may dig a hole to put it in and make it a duck pond

I don't have enough acreage atm to have a pond. Maybe if I buy the 66 acres backing to my property, I could build one. It has the ability to be flooded for the hay fields, so I imagine I could get them to turn the water on long enough for to fill a pond.

Lol I only have 8 acres and I keep looking to buy more, we have a fire pond across the street that makes a little stream over to our property then runs all the way to the back of the property but the water is so low that the stream is dry and so are my 2 puddle ponds
