Just as sutillman said. Green Acres is the only breeder who actually regularly sells hatching eggs, however your luck of having a female is VERY low, and a pair even less.
Even having more than 1-2 birds from a dozen or more eggs is low. I bought a dozen eggs, and only got two males out of it. (Sadly had 6 fertile, and 4 in lockdown, but only 2 made it)
A good recommendation is to
not breed "hatch mates," pairs from the same hatching, as all you're doing is furthering the inbred issues. The best thing to do is work with Gold Laced x Tolbunt.
Oh and for news' sake, here's my Tolbunts now that they've grown up a little more.
My frizzled cockerel, "Spike." I like him more than my smooth, because he has literally NO comb, hardly any wattles at all, a better tail, and of course frizzling. He also has a better temperament.
My smooth cockerel, "Bowie." He's got really good coloring (except in his tail and wings) and really good muffs/beard, pretty good body too except for his high set tail, but he has a smaller crest than I'd like. Hopefully my girls will improve that.
