I don't have fresh mozzarella... I have to go to the store for that. And I happened to notice that my local farm stand didn't have eggs in their fridge... possibilities for next year!

I have 12 tomato plants loaded down with GREEN tomatoes. I'm trying to ignore them so I don't get hung up on waiting, but this forum is making me THINK about them again.
(My last tomatoes came from the farmer's market.)

I eat salsa and ketchup and fried green tomatoes but nothing yuckier than a squishy cold mater!!!

Nothing in this world like a big ole fresh tomato sammi. Mmmm. My favorit part of summer is tomato and cucumber fresh out of the garden. Got a mess of green ones out in the garden now. Can't wait till they are ready.

White bread (toasted), mayo, salt and pepper is my favorite way. yummmmmyyyy

Daughter got a hold of the first two red roma tomatoes and two pickling cucumbers and ate them..so no home grown tomatoes until another week or so.

My fav:

Lettuce
alfalfa sprouts
cheese
Miracle whip OR Hellmans whatever I have on hand
cucumbers
and bacon (if I got any on hand)

On whole wheat bread with iced tea! Now thats a sammy!
