Top of Chicken's head is ripped off

Update: so here is another picture of the chicken. I put the all purpose saline solution on its wound and applied an antibiotic ointment on it after cleaning off some of the dry blood. It's top break got ripped off as well and the chicken can only open the eye on the left side of the face (as seen in the picture).
It took several days maybe even over a week before I was able to discern that my chicken still had her eyes. It took the skin drying up and finally peeling back to reveal them. Your girl is looking much better than mine. Assuming she was in good health before the attack I think she’ll pull through.
Mine also lost the ability to scoop or even open her beak past maybe 10 degrees. I didn’t have a syringe on hand so I used a spoon to scoop the water and food and tilted her head back to let it slide off the spoon into her mouth. Of course a lot didn’t make it in but it was enough to sustain her while she was recovering. I focused mostly on water in the beginning. Also I read that keeping them in the dark for 12 hours or more a day can help to shut down any attempt her body is making to produce eggs so that it directs all its energy on recovery. Most of the time chickens with injuries won’t temporarily be able to lay regardless of their environment but I didn’t want to take chances. So I had a blanket partially draped over the crate I had her in so she had a lot of dark and would rest. Every day I went to see her I half expected to find her passed away but day after day she pulled through. Keep at it!

How long ago did this happen? I wonder if you should treat for shock?

I know you have some of the most knowledgeable folks here already, but just reaching out for even more help.

She's lucky you're there and helping her. You're a special person. Thank you
This happened yesterday at night when I heard it scream. It looks sad but I'm not sure about how to help it. I did some research and all I found was that I should keep it from other chickens (which I don't have) and keep it warm.

I would leave the wound open and covered with the antibiotic ointment. Are both eyes unaffected? Poor little thing. You may have to try and offer water and food often until she is feeling better.
I posted another picture and it looks like one eye is fine but the other is not very easy to find :(

As long as she has the one eye she’ll be able to survive after all heals. Mine only had one working eye after her attack.

are planning to adopt her? Or find her another home once she’s recouped?
Right now, I think I might keep the chicken even after she recovers but only take her outside under my supervision. However, I doubt it wants to go back out on my yard after getting attacked there. Also, since it's comb has be torn off and won't go back, I don't want it someone who owns chickens to have it or else it'll get bullied :(
