tophat OEG's

im thinking of making a breed like this, using sultan or polish and then using an OEG in my cross. then the dominant gene fpr hats will be present, i will breed back into lines with the OEG until the the colors of the tophatter are bred out. i would also try and keep the voice of the OEG, most of you know that oeg's and oegb's have a distinct voice, like sort of a cackle. they also have a high pitched crow. will post a vid of it later

Why not use toppy gamefowl instead of polish or sultan? Then you don't have to worry with feathered feet, or muffs, or even the weird colors.

are you trying to make a tophat OEGB or a bantam polish? lol either way its not a OEGB any more when a tophat is on it. You would have to call it something else intirely.

What color OEG would you be wanting to make into a Polish? I think if you are going to make a new Polish, it has to be a totally different color and I doubt the cluck of the chicken would make much difference. Actually my buff laced Polish (hens) sound completely different from my other chickens. Still, I love any new Polish or Polish crosses, I just guess OEG would not be anything I would think to put with the Polish.
