Hey, I have a Whole foods right next to my house and Marando farms 15 minutes away that have fertpile eggs, I wouldlove to join the club, I don't actually have any chickens yet, but if anybody has an incubator and room for a couple extra chickens in the south florida area (I can only have two hens) I would love to try it out!

I would make one in a heartbeat but my mom will not spend any money, at all and I would still need someboxy able to take the majority of the chicks.

The cooler ones and even the styrofoam ones work well. You can get Styro boxes at Petsmart or Petco. They usually give them to you. Find an old broken lamp for the light fixture. It has to work, but something old or cracked and not being used will work. There's not much else to them. Look around and improvise. Go to lowes or HD and see if they're tossing out any hardware cloth. Sometimes they cut it for customers and a small piece will be in the throw away bin. Just ask if you can look through it. As for too many chicks, you can sell those or give them away on CL. There are things people throw out that you can use. My water pan in one of mine is a plastic lasagne pan.

Bought dozen brown speckled Farmer's Pride Fertile Eggs today at New Leaf in Tally(Tallahassee), Fl. Going to set them with a dozen of my own.

Here's to hoping they'll hatch!! Got the ones with the farthest away exp date (all the way in the back), so they where the freshest there. Keep ya'll posted

I am not an expert, but I think that's just the blastoderm, not the "bulls-eye" of fertility.
