training?

Reptile gardens in South Dakota have trained their chickens to do alot of different things. They have one that you can't beat at tic tac toe,one that dispenses post cards,one would tell your fortune and thay used to have one that played baseball. Also a duck that played the piano. After every successful move a buzzer would go off and it would dispense a treat in a little cup.They also do a play with all the animals as the actors. Quite entertaining.
I would think ALOT of patience and repetition would be required. Too much for me.

Err...Birdnutz, I'm not sure about the others, but as to the unbeatable Tic-Tac-Toe chicken...There used to be an old-west theme park out by where I live, Rawhide (before it was bought and moved) that had one of those. You do realize that it's a computer playing tic tac toe, and not the bird, right? As far as I know, chickens don't have that level of mental response. Aren't they pretty much stimulus-response creatures?

I figured that the computer would light up and the chicken would peck at the light. You can actually see the chicken peck the board on the inside. I figured it was rewarded for that,not that it knew which one it took to win.

Get one of those keyboards you put on the ground and step on. You can get the whole flock involved!

Like a chicken dance party!!! I'd like to see that!

If you combined the light with a treat it might work.
