Hello everyone,
Introducing myself.

Bought a house Oct. '21 homesteaded it and Nov. '22 registered it as a farm with the Farm Service Agency.

Wasn't going to have Chickens until an opportunity fell into my lap. 2 chicken coops and 8 chickens for $200.00.

Couldn't turn it down, so as of yesterday I now have Chickens on my Urban Farm.

Just wish I could quit my day job and only do the Farm bit. Unfortunately, that's the one paying for the house, bills and any and all essentials.

Day job's a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker.

Welcome to the coop! I use the Forums and Articles tabs at the top of the page to do research. You can get lost for hours. It's nice to know you are minutes away from getting help with questions and emergencies! I always check in the "What's New" section as well at the top of this page. This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
