We have pigs locked in the trailer tonight. Going to process early morning tomorrow. They are so big and strong. In flight or fight mode. Element of danger introduced. Have to be 45 miles away at 7:30 am, so over night load was needed. Super dose of electrolytes and a last meal fit for a king. Not proud of it, but it was the
Premise of raising them for 6 months. They lived a short but well cared for life. Hard to do..

I got the pigs delivered to my processor! Yay!
Rained all the way there. The pork chop express was right on schedule though!
One weighed in at 275# and other 300+#.
They were rocking the trailer most of the way there.
The damaged the interior of the trailer. Bummer!
Small price I suppose!.

Prime pork, at months old and gunna be a great return on our investment.
Who's coming to our next bbq?

Dark and gloomy day. I have the lighting on in my barn just to see what I am doing. The chickens in the hospital brooder are looking good!
Washing out the trailer in a minute or so. The pigs destroyed the door!! My brother is gunna be mad!

Almost ruined my plans to start raising ducks!
We had to run to rural king last night.
They had these baby Turkeys I wanted!

I was reminded of the pact I made with hub. No ducks until we are done with the turkeys we already have!
It was so hard to choose! The thing that helped me not buy more Turks was that there was ducklings their too! They were so cute!
When it comes to raising turkeys, just say no!
Ducks! Yay!
