Third day of rain. Ugg! Chickens & turkeys don't seem to mind. However, the turkeys needed to remark on my galoshes! Got a yard full of fashion critics!

It's only rain here...still. Been raining since Friday. Supposed to clear out today. The mud is making me nuts. I'll take driving in the rain vs snow/sleet anytime. We don't have plows down here.

The birds don't mind. Neither do the dogs. But muddy wet dogs are the worst!

Hey Copper. ..looks like you need to tuck in your turkeys earlier so they don't fly to the top of coop. Mine are good....they head into the coop unprompted. But they are anticipating their bedtime treats!
What part of Texas are you in. We rarely get snow here, it's usually ice.

Wow Ralph! I'm impressed! Same with my australian shepherds. If both parents don't carry the red gene, even if one is red, they won't produce red puppies.

I have the best Lappers! I swear Daisy would sit on my lap all day if I let her! I have noticed that my chickens are much more dedicated foragers than the turkeys. The turkeys do eat stuff, but mostly would rather hang out.
