We are due to get copious amounts of rain starting sometime today. The temp is going to drop like a rock. Currently its 60. Thankfully it won't get cold enough for ice or snow. Just rain.
I don't want the girls getting soaked with the temps dropping. Cold wet turkeys bother me. I may fuss over them a bit too much...

Still 62 here. Stopped raining & the sun actually came out for a bit. Not sure where our cold front is. Girls got out to romp. Blossom followed me up the back porch steps & stood there staring at the door. I couldn't resist & went back out to sit on the steps with her. Rest of the girls showed up & we all had a nice time sitting on the porch in the sun. Low keyed day. To wet to do much. But enjoyed the last bit of warm weather.

Glad to hear the tree turkeys survived. I'd freak if mine decided to spend the night in a tree. But then again, I worry when they get muddy feet. I wanted to put them in rain slickers & muck boots the other day. I'm jealous of the Chantix turkeys wardrobe. I worry about them when I'm out of town. Sigh.....I'm pathetic.

I'm sipping lemon water with honey. Curled up in bed with the coonhound. Who is the perfect foot warmer. Besides killing varmints in the yard...he doubles as a full body heating pad. What more could I ask for!
