I accidentally locked a dog in a closet. Couldn't find her & panicked. A missing dog is the worst! Glad he's ok! Although probably annoyed with you!

Rain again. Not storm....just a slow drizzle. The girls are out & about. They figured out they can sit on my back porch rail & not get wet. So they are staring at me through the window in the door. Went out & gave them a few blueberries. They enjoyed their treat.

Hound had an egg for breakfast. That, and the rain, means he'll sleep all day!

These silly birds! The boys next door were out in the drive doing something on their trailer. I had all three young birds perched on top of the privacy fence watching them. Surprised they didn't make popcorn. Had to go down their drive to shush them back into my yard. The boys don't mind...good ole country boys...they like them. But how creepy? A bunch of turkeys spying on you. I will say....its a pretty line up of hens!

Blossom scared me to death! She was missing at bed time. The other birds were in the coop calling for her. I was calling for her. I looked everywhere. Under every bush. Checked the yards on either side of me. I kept thinking I heard her but couldn't figure out where she was. Ran onto the house to get a flashlight. Ran back out & there she was. Strolling up from the back. I think she may have been laying an egg in the tall grass. Missing a turkey at dusk freaked me out.

Oh....wasn't sure what this was about!!

Its sunny! My whole flock is laid out in the sun! Kicking their big feet in the air! They are loving it! Had a serious talk with Blossom. Told her to never pull that disappearing trick again. Told Daisy she needs to watch the youngsters better. I told her I was blaming her! Then I picked up Marigold and got my fill of hen hugs. Those white feathers on her head are so soft. So are her belly feathers.
