No snow. Took Daisy for a stroll. We've been hiding. She was so happy. Kept twittering & ate her weight in weeds. Had a few neighbors wander by. I swear she waved at them! She misses her little fan club. And she just smiled the whole time. Yes....my talented girl can smile. She's just a funny bird. I think she'd rather hang with people vs other turkeys. I think because she likes the attention & pets. Hey....I don't mind a neck massage.

Well everyone, I received an email back. Unfortunately, it's not good :( I copied it to share with you all.

Hey Jessica
This is Diane Gorman, Karen's sister. I have sad news. Karen passed away two weeks ago from pneumonia due to her lupus. She was pretty sick and just couldn't shake it. Feel feel to spread the word to all you chicken people. Karen loved her fowl as much as all her dogs. She is at peace in Bellefontaine Cemetery here in St. Louis, her hometown. We are very sad

@memphis you will be terribly missed. I know that you know how much we all loved you here.
