Ok everyone I have a question. I have a flock of LF and bantams. Well my two roosters were large down so I got rid of them because one of them almost killed one of my hens yesterday (she is perfectly fine now). There are other reasons too. Well, I am going to pick up a silkie rooster tomorrow for them. He is one year old. Is there a way I can make this a smooth transition, or will he be just fine because he will have 10 ladies without any other Roosters??????

If he doesn't look in PERFECT condition (clean butt fluff, healthy comb/wattles, little to no feather loss), I would quarantine him. Go with your gut. If he seems healthy, then just use the playpen method for about a week or more. When you let him out I would turn them all loose so they can free range. That gives them a way to gfet away from each other, and distracts them from being mean.

Ugh, I am SO sick and tired of adult movies. -_-
We watched Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 in theaters today. HILARIOUS, but.... So much crude humor.
