Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

So we're pretty sure that Heidi's problem was a nutrient deficiency cause after we gave her the nutrient drench she peeked up a whole lot and has actually started gaining weight and my sister is now pretty sure she probably had it before we got her (beginning of march) cause she's always been a bit off but we thought it was a worm problem. Anyway we think that Clara, Heidi's daughter, has a nutrient deficiency, she's four, four and a half months and only about the size of a two month old. My sister is a bit hesitant to give her the nutrient drench though since she's so small she doesn't want to give it to her and it be too strong. Weight wise she's maybe 30lbs. This is the stuff we have.

Dan, I'm so sorry it has taken me so long to respond... I've had a very stressful day!

"Carefully formulated to help support normal energy levels, appetite and digestion. Administer to goats when kidding, weaning, vaccinating, handling, weather changes, shipping or post antibiotic treatment. Give 1 oz per 100 lbs body weight no more than 3 times per day. Can be drenched, top dressed or added to milk replacer."
It says added to "milk replacer" so they must use it for kids.

Personally I would start by giving her a more calm "electrolytes"... And see if you notice a difference with that.

Since it says 1oz per 100pounds you could just really delute it.

Ive only ever done my own homemade electrolytes for my animals.

That's ok. Alright, I'll tell my sister.
