Yeah, it is... He is only 9 and he has autism.
Spent all day working for uncles. Been gone since about 9:00 and I finally come home to find that there's a strange chicken foraging with the ducks. Appearently when they unloaded a new batch of laying pullets across the road last night one got out, I have to hand it to her because for a chicken house chicken her crop is pretty full. Also one of the cleanest chicken house chickens I've ever seen. Not sure what I'm gonna do with her, don't think we'll take her back but I don't know where I'll put her for quarantine.

So according to my research she's about 18 weeks old, that's when they usually ship layers off to new facilities. Also according to my research the leghorn hybrids (which is what she is) usually start laying around twenty weeks. I guess we'll see if she does or not without the artificial lighting. Her comb is actually a bit bigger and redder than it was on Saturday.
