She's my favorite sub. Cuz she doesn't let the "cool kids" get away with all the crap our regular teachers let them get away with.

To explain that outburst. My broody hen, Buffy Jr., Abandoned her chicks. Two are missing. She doesn't lead them to the coop anymore...

Don't ever let her hatch chicks again. Darn broodies...

Guys, broodies often leaves chicks when they are six weeks old. If they go longer (a lot of mine do) they're very dedicated but the chicks don't need them.

Tuesday night (a few hours old).

He was a true breech. Mom's water broke at 11:06 am on Tuesday; she was pushing and trying but nothing was happening so I went in at around 3 pm. For at least half an hour I was trying to get his hooves but I was afraid to tear her by doing it wrong...we got the vet and he was able to pull the calf out.

Cow is well but he isn't. Not able to stand. I'm milking the cow and bottle feeding/tube feeding the calf.

Oh yes, I understand that. But my chicks want to stick with the Mother and she refuses to watch them. They're the ones not ready.
