Trying NOT to buy baby chicks

How does one go into the store and NOT buy the cuties?

I have a husband who says no

- but I do have 25 baby chicks at home already and 25 adult chickens. But he said that if I sell my eggs, I could have more chickens

so I sold 3 dozen in one day

He said 0h no

I just remind myself that the coop is only a skeleton, and the siding is still buried under a snowdrift. The mental picture of half-grown chickens in my bathroom freezes me in my tracks.

Buy them and they will come....you can never have too many chickens...if you do MOVE and you can have chickens runnin everywhere!!! and young roos waking youa 2am it is GRAND.........If you like them - get them!!!
