I thought you might like to see some of these very pretty chicks growing out from your eggs. They are 12 weeks on friday.

The deep reddish brassy loking cockeral is the blue/buff cross. he is a very sweet boy and would make a wonder flock roo for someone with a mixed flock.

I love both of the splashes from this hatch.

I feel pretty lucky with the ratio of pullets to cockerals I got out of these eggs.

This is one of the black boys enjoying some cool shavings to nestle into.

This pullet is the lt. brahma/blue orp cross. The lacing in her feathers is very pretty. There is another one much much light than this one but she wasn't having her photo made today.

    Thanks again! [IMG]

They did turn out very nice...I love the penciling in the brahma/blue orp pullet...almost like a dark brahma....

I have acouple odd balls growing out, I'll have to get pics somewhere down the line...hoping for a pullet or two to add to just extra egg layers...those mutts seem to lay better than breeds all the time....

Very nice Orp/Brahma cross pullet, MissP! I like what you get in general when you cross those two breeds. Nice big healthy birds. Not shabby in the looks dept, either.
