TULSA area Cluckers

I got some nice looking hens two weeks ago from ummm.... Okieridge... Cathy is her name who is moving back into town? Anyway she needed to downsize. Egg color is decent so far although they have hardly laid since the move, but they look GREAT. So I need to weed through my hens and pull out the worst ones. Need to get some pictures up here.

Does anybody know a good place around Tulsa to get welded wire in rolls. The kind that you use J clips to clip together to make cages. There used to be a good place in Sand Springs years ago and then another place in Tulsa near 11th & Memorial that went out of business and now I cannot find it. It is so expensive but it is also so easy to sit on the couch and watch TV and make cages. (I know, the ultimate lazy but good task on a cold or rainy day).

Need to get some of these ducks to an auction/swap in Kansas where the cage goes with them and I hate to root around for old ratty cages as I think that kind of deducts from the value of the birds.

Wish I knew. :( I use 2"x4" welded wire from Lowe's for fencing but that get's pricey (and doesn't work real great for cages if you have small birds). Share if you find it!

Well I finally found what I was looking for at Tractor Supply. 1x2 welded wire and I believe they have 1x1 too. Can't say I love the price but I guess it is better than getting out the saw and cutting wood.

Didn't realize this site existed. I raise silkies and showgirls, many of show quality. I know several people on here and hope to get to know more. I recommend the show and sale in Pryor at the Mayes County Fairgrounds this Saturday (March 2). Lotta good people there and a nice smallish bantams only show (silkies are bantams).

Betsy, I have someone in our area looking for nice silkies for their daughter. I told her about the show in Pryor but not sure if she can make it. Since I don't have your contact number I told her that I would send her number your way. Will send you a PM.
