Turkey Pheasant Hybrid

I can find no recent information or research online regarding turkey pheasant hybrids. There are some historical articles, however, nothing seems to indicate the ability as of recent inquiries.

Well, here we have a turkey pheasant hybrid incubated from a egg we took from our blue slate hen. We have no toms. She is kept in an aviary with a pheasant pair and quails (among other smaller flying birds). The egg hatched a week earlier than normal turkey eggs as well.

The last picture of this post shows a pheasant chick. They have the same coloring and markings. There is also no notable nub above the beak of the turkey pheasant hybrid chick.

Has anyone else heard of someone having one??? Is this as rare of a phenomenon as it seems?

Não consigo encontrar nenhuma informação recente ou pesquisa online sobre híbridos de peru e faisão. Existem alguns artigos históricos, no entanto, nada parece indicar a capacidade de investigações recentes.

Bem, aqui temos um híbrido de peru faisão incubado de um ovo que tiramos de nossa galinha ardósia azul. Não temos toms. Ela é mantida em um aviário com um casal de faisões e codornizes (entre outras aves voadoras menores). O ovo eclodiu uma semana antes dos ovos normais de peru.

A última foto deste post mostra um filhote de faisão. Eles têm a mesma coloração e marcações. Também não há nenhuma protuberância notável acima do bico do filhote híbrido de peru e faisão.

Alguém mais ouviu falar de alguém que tem um ??? Este é um fenômeno tão raro quanto parece?
