Turkey Talk for 2014

I have a 3-5 day old baby that does not wount to eat or drink.He came from a auction,the night we got him he started eating and drinking as soon as we got home but not very much.Then this morning he would not eat or drink at all unless we put his beak in the water and this afternoon I ran some food through the blinder until it was dust and mixed in some vitamin water to make a paste. He will eat a mouth full or two of this off my finger and quit i have been doing this every hour or two. When I put him back in the brouder he just sleeps and has droopy wings. What can I do to save this little one.

That is the problem with auctions. He either will need an antibotic, wormed or corrid for cocci. I would probably start with antibotics.

Try putting in the brooder 3 or 3 chicks. They can show him to eat and drink.

I found the entry info. Unfortunately the pic was taken with my phone and just under recommended resolution. Maybe I'll take the Canon out tonight.
