Me too!!! I can practically run the world from my phone, but can't use emoticons. Lol My Internet SUCKS!!! So I use my phone mostly on 3G.

My new BR hen is very timid and tries to keep away from me. 6 days ago, she was in the nest box and wouldn't budge, even when I took the top off to get the egg. She hisses like a snake. That went on for 3 days, then she started trying to remove my body parts. She strikes like a snake too. Last night I couldn't get the egg away from her. Today I put in a smaller nest box that, I hoped, the BBB's couldn't get in. One did and I had to take it apart to get her out. She couldn't turn around. I dumped the BR hen out of the box she was in, since she refused to come out and she spent the entire day outside. I thought I had broke her. I had been saving eggs for the incubator, but had 9 that wouldn't fit. I took them down and put 3 in the small box. She walked in, saw those eggs, did the snake neck thing, then went right in and settled down. I started adding eggs with her hissing and biting at me. She broke one egg, lunging at me. But she had all 8 eggs tucked under her when I checked a few minutes later. I'm not sure what she'll do, but I thought it was worth a try. Does anyone else have a hen that gets super aggressive and what do you think about it? I've only had her 3-4 weeks.

I've had a few ... lol.. one I have now is pretty evil

I am looking into raising turkeys.... for meat obviously. Silly question an old farmer down the road tried to sell me a turkey where all the "pin bones" in their legs are bred out of them. He was very enthusiastic about these turkeys... I just cant remember the name of them for the life of me so I can research them. Any ideas?

hmmmmm i would buy 2 if i were u and try them but for meat i like nargansetts. They breed naturally and toms can pass 30lbs
