Turkey with returning sour crop?

Sometimes having worms can cause crop problems.
Usually slow crops are a sign of something else.
Does hers sound like a slow moving backed up sour type crop? What are slow crops a sign of? She just laid another egg last night a soft shell but she’s been doing that a lot recently cause she’s laying a lot of hard nice shelled eggs and then soft ones. Her vent looks perfect, and all else. Just the dang crop. I do fly out next Thursday so I have until then to try and fix this and get her situated and then I won’t be back until the 17th or so. What do you think?
Btw thanks so much for answering and helping. No one else is and it’s kinda bumming me out and stressing me out cause I leave so soon and I obviously love and care about this sweethearted girl so so much.

If could be caused by any one a long list of things things.

I would deworm her if I were you....the easiest thing to try first.

So just deworm her right now? How long do I have to do deworming treatment and how? I do have the safe guard for goats the dewormer. But she’s not good about her head being touched at all and freaks out. But like I said I do fly out next week so if the deworming treatment is a week long I’d have to start very soon, and what else can I do in the meantime? How will I know if it’s worm related after the deworming?

And she can still have her all flock crumbles and electrolyte water in the meantime? Cause she’s still actively eating/ drinking as well
I would deworm her asap and I would not withhold food.
Can you weigh her?
Maybe
@azygous can help think of something to do for her crop.

Your girl sounds as if she has chronic crop issues, possibly aggravated by pendulous crop. Crop bras are insanely easy to make. You can even glue the pieces if you don't sew. I show a simple pattern in this article. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/

Does her crop smell? You will know it if it does. It's indescribably awful. She may have a combination of impacted crop, sour crop, and aggravated by pendulous crop. The article will hopefully help you sort it all out. Treatment is also discussed.

There is a chance that her condition is caused by an underlying health issue such as disease or cancer. If treatment fails to improve her crop within three days, you probably need to consider that she has something else more serious going on. In this case, sour crop won't improve with treatment. I faced this recently with a favorite hen, and it turned out she was over-run with internal cancer.

Yes I can weigh her tonight if you’d like? So you all will know her weight and can help me with any doses I need during this whole crop treatment time. Once I give you the weight (I’ll go take her weight now I’m about to walk out and check on her) how many days is a deworming treatment on safeguard? Cause I can only treat a full 6 days due to traveling if I start tomorrow first thing and how many times a day? And I’m not withholding food, she’s got access to her crumbles and water 24/7 :)

I will take a look at what you are talking about. And that would also work for a big sized turkey? Should I go ahead and try and make her a crop supporter?
And I tried to get close to her face today to try and smell and she got super scared and freaked out and ducked down low hiding from me, but it is super squishy and not hard by any means. Super big and full.

So what should I do as of now, try to deworm as @Texas Kiki mentioned? And if it doesn’t get better soon what do I do from there..? Try and get her to a vet..?
