TV Doorbells

sometimes yes and sometimes no...
i dont know what the difference is between certain tv/movie doorbells, but some send them into a frenzy and others its like they dont even hear them...kinda weird.

My dog doesn't mind noises, but lights make her batty. I've never understood this about my dog! She chases shadows, lights, reflections, even headlights. She has to be watched closely when turned out to potty at bedtime. She is a nut!! I love her to pieces, but if its sunny and the birds fly past the window or the leaves fall off a tree she is trying to catch it and whining and driving me nuts!! I think I could handle a doorbell barker, cuz I don't have a doorbell!!

Years ago, I used to run a boarding kennel. We had an African Grey stay with us for a while and whenever someone came in the front door (he could see and hear them through a window) he'd start yelling "HELP! AMBER, HELP!! HELP!" The owner told us her daughter's name is Amber and the kids taught him that thinking it would be funny. She told us how she had moved him to the tiled area in front of the front door one day so she could clean where his cage usually sat. I don't currently have a dog, but I went over to my friends house and we were watching some movie with a dog in it, the tv dog was barking and guess what? her dog started barking and looking all over the place(especially behind the tv) for some mysterious dog. I asked her about it and she said he does this every time a dog barks on tv.

Sabrina does that all the time. I can usually tell if she is going to bark or not based on how much it sounds like our door bell. She never seems to learn

Sugar just gives her the look. Sugar is old and wise, Sabrina might just never learn.......But she is cute, so that makes up for it.

Our Aussie runs to the door barking her head off every time a TV doorbell rings. The Lab could care less. But let a kitten on TV mew and he is on his feet, looking all over for the kitty. He LOVES kitties. He will cry 'cause he can't find the TV kitty.
