Two 6 week old Pekin drakes need a home!

Did the park manager give you the drakes? If not these are not yours to give away. They are the park manager's ducks in the parks private pond. They are not being abandoned, just managed in a way different than you would like them to be.

My RV park manager bought ducks for the park pond. They turned out to be Pekins, 1 male & 3 female. They weren’t fed proper nutrition as ducklings, so all the females are weak legged & pigeon toed. When they were fully feathered they released them to the pond, as free range ducks. One of the girls became lame and she died within 3 weeks. The rest of the flock is doing well. The females are nesting their eggs & the drake protects them. The irresponsible manager bought 4 more ducks, they were raised outside of the park. All Pekins, 2 male & 2 female. They are fully feathered and he wants to just drop them off to the pond. I told him only the girls should be introduced to the flock otherwise it’s too many drakes. I don’t want them to kill the drakes. I need to find them a new home! Please help! I’m located between Gainesville & Ocala, Florida
Unfortunately I can’t have another drake let alone two, but good luck! I hope you find a nice home for them 🙂
