Two Guys or Girls

Hi all,

I've been waffling over whether these two are hens or roosters for weeks. They are 3.5 months old.

I got them from a local lady that sells chicks, and I'm not really sure what exact breeds that are. The brown one looks a lot like one of the pictures that McMurray Hatchery has for a Whiting True Blue, which is one of the breeds I got from her. That one has a pea comb.

The light gray one, I'm just not sure on that breed. It does not have a pea comb. In the last few weeks it has started showing a little bit of splash coloring.

I have never heard crows from either of them, and they are extremely docile and have never shown any aggressive or even assertive behavior.

Interested to see what everyone thinks, hen or rooster!

Both are cockerels. My guess for breed would be Prairie Bluebell, Whiting True Blue, or another designer EE breed.

Thanks all! I found out from the breeder that the brown one is whiting true blue/bielefelder. I think I will probably part ways with him and keep the gray one, although they are both quite stunning to look at.
