Two of my chickens are standing still, puffed up and are closing their eyes

My girls are doing great this morning, even yesterday evening they were taking a dust bath with all the others ! I live in Europe so I don't know if that product is available here but my father is looking for solutions. I will have to be monitoring carefully the next few days cause they are going to be very hot. The blue one's crop does feel more full than others. They don't have access to grit so I'll change that as soon as possible. I'll try what y'all said thank you so much for your help !
So they are doing better today? That's good!
I'd work on getting rid of the bugs. You likely have different products, so look for Pestene or similar. Ask at your feed or pet shop to see what they have to treat lice/mites on birds.

Re-check their crop first thing in the morning before they have eaten or drank anything. The crop should be empty or float. Checking during the day when they have been eating/drinking it's hard to gauge function.

Hopefully they were just having a hard time with heat. Do provide them with access to deep shade and cool water when it starts getting hot, this may help them a lot.

This thread is about the OP's birds getting sick. I think we're getting a bit side tracked here. I agree, it does depend on may factors, epically the quality of the land and space they have.

I realize that my wording was incorrect. What I meant to say is that dried corn can cause crop impaction if chickens consume it without access to grit. I may be mistaken about you posting this, but will see what I can find.
I see what you're saying. Yes, grit is helpful in processing corn and grains so it's possible that these can cause issues. If a crop is impacted or slow moving, then eliminating corn/grains and harder to process foods for a short period of time is helpful if treatment is needed.

We knew from post 3 that the OP's birds free range in the garden, therefore they can find their own grit. And therefore what forage is in the garden is directly relevant. You are the one who side-tracked the thread and threw in the red herrings.
Just becuase they free range in the garden, it dosen't mean that they pick up enough grit. It is always good to provide extra grit. I do not no anything about the OP's garden, so for all we know it may be all lawn. But yes, I am sorry about the wording I used in the first post as it could have been taken as misinformation.

I have a similar situation with my chickens I lost two chickens last week with the same thing standing around with their eyes closed one did this for a week and a half while I was treating him with nutra-drench and medicated food thinking that that would help. The one rooster that had it for a week and a half finally succumbed the female same breed as him/ sister to him declined over 24 hours and passed. Now I have a young pullet that has started the same thing closing her eyes. Upon checking on my birds this afternoon I discovered a young bird about 4 months old that was deceased under my flower bushes, I'm assuming it must have been the same thing -the bird has no injuries. I have been treating for 9 days now with corid in their water I thought that this would be the solution based on the symptoms.
These birds have no other symptoms. After reading the threads here I made sure that this little one that has started closing her eyes doesn't have mites I checked the vent area I don't see any white spots or red mites. There's no sneezing no coughing no eye drainage. I'm getting very concerned that I'm going to have more casualties does anybody know what this could be?

Do you have a thread about them, I'm not finding it if you do?

Age of birds?
Photos? Birds, poop, housing, etc.?
What do you feed?

What dose of Corid are you using and did you add Nutri-Drench during treatment? If you added nutri-drench cut that out, there's a contraindication with the B1.

Any chance they ate moldy feed, got into something toxic, dead, rotten, compost?
How long have you had the birds?
Have you added new birds?

Work on hydration, make sure your feed is fresh and not molded. Do look them over for lice and mites. Consider getting fecal float to see if worms are part of the problem.

The younger is 11wks, the 2 who died were 21 wks.
I dont believe theres any moldy food. I feed naturewise all flock and feather fixer at this time. Prior to this week I have been feeding layer pellet but we are starting to molt so ive opted for the above, every afternoon they get a large scoop of uppercut feed which is a very good variety scratch I also provide a scoop of Bang cock.
The 21 week old birds that passed away I was providing the nutra-drench along with medicated food. They were separated when I discovered they weren't well and kept in their own coop. I have a large carport with Rafters that has been enclosed with 14 gauge wire to provide a safe Coop area for them they sleep in the rafters and during the day they are free range. When the first two birds died which was in 24 hours of each other I did some research and decided on treating with corid, the instructions on the medication say to provide this as the sole water until the dosages complete 7 to 10 days. Today will be the 10th day. Now we've had some rain so it's possible that the birds have been drinking water other than the cord from random spots. I checked the birds for mites I do not see any. We do not have any vets in our area that vet birds or Exotics. That's why I'm posting here because I was hoping that the symptoms would Spark some results that I could treat these birds, I am not wanting to lose my whole flock it's bad enough I've lost the ones I have. I have about 95 Birds. The newest birds that I have added are the 11-week-old birds my daughter incubated these birds and they came to me in very good health. One thing to note the lavender orpingtons that were 21 weeks old are part of a group that my daughter and I bought together the ones that she has always have been larger than mine and look so much healthier than mine I was feeding mine just producers Pride layer pellets with scratch feed in the afternoon and when I saw the difference in her Birds to mine I started feeding mine the uppercut and the bang cock as well as the nature-wise feeds that she feeds hers which are the all flock and feather fixer. I have made the change in food over the last 6 to 8 weeks. I do not use hay or straw in my coop when I use bedding I use pine flake, because the floor is concrete I use a hoe and scrape the poop out every morning. I hope I have provided more information that will help somebody bring a determination as to what could be going on thank you again

The dose of Corid I'm using is 10ml in one gallon of water

I'm not familiar with uppercut or bang cock. Do you have photos of those products.

11 week old are eating all flock right? Not layer feed.

With that many birds, if you lose another, then sending the body for necropsy would give you the best answers. This will help you figure out what changes, treatment(s) are needed, if any.
