Howdy ya'll
I'm new to this site and new to raising birds. I'm getting 26 chickens on Wednesday so I ran to the feed store to pick up food and feeders. While I was there I decided to check out the chicks. What a mistake that was, as soon as a saw the Rouen ducks with Toulouse geese I knew I had to get a few. So I picked up two Rouen and one Toulouse and a silkie. Now that I have been reading about them I am afraid that I should have gotten the other Toulouse while I was there. I was reading that geese work better in pairs and that they dont get along too well with other birds. So my question is; will my Toulouse do alright without anther Toulouse and with the Rouen ducks and the silkie. So far they seem to get along great but I dont know about later. I went back later to the feed store but to my dismay someone already bought the other goose. If anyone can share some insight that would be great.
