Tylan 50 works best if given four times a day. If you can't do four, do three, and if you can't do three, try twice.
0.25 ml per pound of body weight orally four times a day
0.33 ml per pound of body wight orally three times a day
0.5 ml per pound of body weight orally two times a day
About the same, and it would have to be given 3-4 times a day. The problem is that injectable Tylan can cause *severe* injection site reactions (muscle necrosis) when given in the muscle. This is well documented and I can tell you from personal experience that the one time I used it happened to my hen. Why are you asking? Are you having trouble giving it orally?Would it be the same dosage if you injected it into the breast?
