She is opening the eye that has been kept close today, so I'd say that that's an improvement. I just went to Tractor Supply and bought Terramycin and will apply it as soon as I get home. How often should i apply it?

She is eating and drinking but she definitely acts like she is weaker.

Tylan is good for treating some bacteria, but it will now treat all bacteria. My concern is that she may have a bacteria that Tylan won't treat, which is why I asked about the vet. Today is Friday, so really your last chance to get in to see a vet until Monday.

I think that would be best. I would hate to see her take a sudden turn for the worse tomorrow or Sunday when you won't be able to find an avian vet to see her.

She is doing so much better today! Her eyes are still alittle stretched out looking but are more open and clear. The Terramycin has done the trick! She is also more active.
