UK pigeon owners

Well it looks like it's meant to be! Lucky returned today! :woot I have no idea where he's been. 3 days awol. He looks in a bit of a state and very tired.I don't think he's eaten much by the fact he hasn't stopped eating since he came back. And drinking. Little bugger knows where my whisky bottle is now!
This fills me with confidence that he will stay now. I'm really happy. I'm kind of hoping he would pair up with boomer. He has been rising through the pigeon ranks in my loft and nearly sits on the top perch!

Thrilled for you my friend!:highfive: I didn't want to comment when you first said he was AWOL for fear of 'jinxing' it, but I did feel you had a very high probability of seeing him back.

When are you going to let the youngest group fly with the flock?

Did he really stick his beak in your whisky?

Wouldn't surprise me. :lau
I had a horse who liked sweet tea and raspberry rum..

The BEST ONES are those that choose to stay by their own choosing. Who knows where Lucky was hanging around??? But did remember to find his way HOME. :thumbsup
So the loss total still remains at only 1 so far. Not bad at all.
Maybe that one jumped into your (friendly:gig) neighbors loft and being held prisoner:hit
Hmm.. maybe he should have a look see? :D

Bill paying work done! It's Been a bit of a week with the squidgy pidgies! I've had a couple stop out. The last one was mama pigeon 2. She was out with squeak and Co. then the neighbour let all his out and a helicopter flew over at the same time! Pigeons everywhere! I got 5 back and mama 2 didn't return. She was back by 8 the next morning though. Pigeons sleeping out is becoming a bit of a thing at the moment! 3 nights was worrying though. Lucky is a strong flier, he out flew boomer! She landed for a breather well before him! He didn't drink my whisky! He just looked like he could do with one though! I'm hoping to let the 5 younsters out with the rest in a couple of weeks. They don't go far at the moment and spend alot of time sat on the roof watching everything! Keep the positive vibes coming!
It's great to see you back @Fields Mountain Farm. I know what you mean about not getting notifications. If I miss one, I have to go onto my watched threads to see what's going on! Why do you give your horse raspberry tea and rum? Or best not ask! :lau we used to give them something called vitamalz. It was a malted drink but was like redbull for the horses!
I'm writing as caveman posted. It has crossed my mind that my neighbour may have him. I guess I'll never know for sure. All he could use him for is breeding because his ring is still registered to me. I wouldn't dare go in his garden. He has a big dog that just wanders around barking and looking mean! Other than that all present and correct!
