You probably can't without a rx. If you tell them you need clean ones for heroin use though....

I think telling someone that you are a heroin addict so you can get clean needles to care for a baby chick would DEFINITELY qualify you for some sort of "crazy chicken lady" prize.

I do government work and require background checks. I'm not EVER going to lie about taking drugs I never took. Heck, I've never even smoked a cigarette, never mind anything stronger.

If you can get the insulin needles they are really small.
29 gauge is super tiny.

My comment about saying your an addict to get them is out of frustration. A person could stumble into a pharmacy near death needing an insulin shot to save them but can’t get it without a rx. It’s just dumb.

I work for a company that is over 100 years old. We recently sold the old factory building and moved to a smaller location. Back in the day, there was a whole staff of nurses. I was one of a few left to help clear out the building before demolition, and my office happened to be next to the nurses station. I cleaned out the nurses station and got a ton of brand new stuff. Some probably expired, but I figured most of it would be safe to use on the birds. Everything from bandaids, packets of antibiotic ointments, syringes, ace bandages, gauze pads, thermometers galore! Several medical bags, like EMT's carry, lots of burn related stuff. Score!

Never seen or heard of a blister from a turner or whatnot. Kinda scary really!

I had a OE chick hatch out with a big bumble butt (not vent) and that was nerve wracking enough!

The chick is running around, eating, drinking and being a spunky little thing. The blister is a little smaller than yesterday and shows no sign of breaking yet. The chick that hatched yesterday is still mostly content to sleep under the heater plate.
