Is it OK to feed chickens popcorn that hasn't yet been cooked/popped? I read somewhere that they love popcorn, but wasn't sure about cooking it or giving it raw.

Ahhh - you mean bloat? Like gas in the belly?

I don't know about corn that has already been popped, but this would be just the raw hard kernels, no salt, butter, flavourings etc.... just plain ol' corn kernels they sell as "popping corn".

Piping in is good - the more the merrier! I googled, but most of the responses I could find were along the lines of "they're only chickens, so who cares? Feed them whatever they will eat". [IMG]

At least here I can get some proper advice. BYC rocks!
