It costs just as much to feed a good looking healthy chicken as it does to feed a reject bird that has its head twisted around sideways. You can give em all the vitamins you want to prop up a deficiency but you have to wonder if it’s wise to breed a bird like that?

I use popsicle sticks to prop up the non-working crooked body parts.

then I sell them to the southies..

I don't usually breed the ones with faults I have to sell or use as replacements. If I don't give them to someone else, I use their offspring for food

Do you prorate the prices based on deformities? I’ve been looking for some rescue birds but I don’t have a lot to spend.
