**UPDATE!!!*** 10am lecture Ky/S. In- Milton Swap C/S INFO Aug 30

We plan on being there. Don't know that we have much for a raffle, but I will try and look around.

Does anyone have any information about if you have to pay for a space, what time to setup, anything?!?

We plan on selling green melanistic pheasants, lavender and pearl guineas, and Royal Palm and Royal Palm X Blue Slate turkeys. Man I hope we have enough cages to get them all down there, I have 40+ pheasants that have to go!

Please tell your friends!

My mom and I are planning on coming, we have been looking forward to meeting some other chickens folks around here.

We have a few surplus birds to bring if anyone is interested, as we don't plan to set up a formal booth to sit at and sell all day (I don't think we have enough birds to warrant one). We have a pair of Porcelain and a pair of White d'Uccles. There is also a pair of Pekin ducks unless this person buys them this week. I may also have some silkies available. Some of these youngsters are going to have to find homes, but I am still trying to figure out sexes and who I want to keep. Potentially there whites, buffs, and partridge, some hatched Derby day, and some hatched late June.

Look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Just be careful on bringing stuff to "sell under the table" so to say. If the folks that run the park notice it they will inquire about paying to sell. Dont get me wrong if you bring some stuff your wanting to trade or work out a prior transaction and just meet there to follow up I doubt seriously it will be an issue. Just wanted to mention this so there arent any "surprises" come saturday.

As for the "free raffle" I aint sure what Im bringing....anyone else made up their minds yet ???? Getting anxious!!!!!!!!

Okay Chickencop, but if you plan on showing them, remember - I got best and reserve of breed out of that huge class. And they are undefeated at all of the shows I've taken them to. You should let me have them. Add them to my program, and then get chicks. LOL! Do you still want the pair of frizzle cochins?

I can't come up on Sat. I have to work.

My friend & I are making the 3 1/2 hour drive on Sun. Our husbands are so thrilled about that. lol

Will any BYCers still be there? Do you know of anything going on Sunday?

I am looking for silver phoenix, red shouldered Yokohamas and spangled Hamburgs. Julie is looking for white phoenix. We both are looking for Japanese bantams.

ChickieWickie,
If you can call in sick, there will be soooooooo much more there on Saturday. When I have gone on Sunday, the number is only 1/3 of what was there Saturday. And the more rare birds go as soon as they come out the trailer/car. I took a few pairs 2 years ago and as I was getting the pet taxis out of the car, people were coming over, asking what I had. They were all gone before they hit the ground. And when I got there on Friday night, after dark, people came over with flashlight to see what we had. I have seen some of what you guys are looking for at Milton in past years, but all were bantams.
