**UPDATE!!!*** 10am lecture Ky/S. In- Milton Swap C/S INFO Aug 30

Chickwickie,
I am in the same position that you are. However I do have a Silver Spangled Hamburg Roo that I was going to try and part with at the meet. He is a great bird but I lost several hens recently to some neighbors dogs and he was too sweet to try and protect them. He hid underneath the coop. Just a thought if you come up short and are interested.

Russ,
I might be interested, if I can find some hens. I went to the Hopkins County Fair. Mr. Harris was showing his Hamburgs but wouldn't part with any of them. I thought, they were really pretty.

Yolonda,
I would call in sick but I sub for Julie's husband at the post office...Tim might get a little suspicious, when he came home from work and found a note saying that she had gone to Milton. I told her earlier today to bribe him into working Sat, so we can come up. She said she didn't think he would work for us to go to a small animal swap. She is also looking for a small Maltese male. I can't wait to see what we come home with. I'm sure our husbands can't wait either. lol

I'm just afraid that you may be disappointed with the turnout on Sunday. The numbers are way down from Saturday. There are some other swaps farther north, and some of the people head up there Saturday evening. I am sending you a pm with the name and number of someone who has silver spangled hamburgs. He is in Indianapolis. Perhaps you girls can make a big road trip, since you'll be 1/2 way there. Or he may be coming to this area later in the year for a show. I met him at a show last fall, and stuck his business card into my bantam standard, and found it last night. Maybe he'll have what you want.

Yolonda

Hello folks! I'm a newcomer to the site--just stumbled onto it today and not really sure how to go about posting, so apologies if I accidentally got into someone's conversation.
Does anyone know where I might get some antigen without buying 1000 doses? I'm in Indiana and would like to bring some birds to Milton (a last-minute decision) but can't find anyone who has it. I took the NPIP training in the spring but hadn't bought the stuff because of the quantity.
Looking forward to running into fellow poultry lovers!

Hey Yolanda, wondering if your bringing that little mottled hen to sell on Saturday?
Im bringing my check book and bank book and charge card no amount of money she is special!!!!
Hope to see you again Saturday am collecting things for raffle.

That little princess is lost here at home. She looks so sad. I can see in her eyes that she misses her adoring audience. I can't part with her, she'll probably die here. And the way my luck goes, it'll probably be sooner than later. Luckily, I have gotten some chicks from her.

Is the Milton Show really in Ky or Indiana? I am new to Chickens and I have had several Friends tell me I need to go to this show. I have never been before.

It isn't a show, it's a swap meet. There will be all sorts of things there. Mostly chickens, but some yard sale stuff, plants, ponies, and Chickencop can tell you about all the cute dogs and puppies for sale. (Anybody want to get a pool going on how long he's there before he buys a dog? I'll take two hours twelve minutes before cash comes out of his pocket for a dog! LOL) And of course Matt from Poultryman's Supply will be set up with everything from leg bands to medications, and best of all books!
