Oh, those types of things are always so difficult. What kinds of chickens are they? I THINK there are some that take longer to develop, maybe this is one? Definitely follow everyone's advice, up humidity. I know that when the membrane dries it supposedly helps to rub a little warm water where you can.
I hatched a chick who sat in its egg for three days with no success in hatching; it is perfectly healthy and my favorite. BUT, it had cracked a hole big enough for the end of its beak before it gave up. So I doubt it would work the same with yours. Good luck deary, let us know how things turn out.
