If I were you I would feed her. At least add some vitamins or minerals to her water, she has to have something like that to start to heal. Good job.

Oh fantastic, I'm SO happy!!!

I'd say give her soft food, no seeds and stuff that could get lodged in the wound..... if she wants to eat then let her, egg sounds perfect!

Please keep us updated..... you did a real good job!

* Don't forget that she's going to need some antibiotics in her water & dab hydrogen peroxide on those stitches. keep us up to date, o.k.?

I am SO proud of you, Jeffrey! You should be an avian vet when you grow up. I think you grew up a lot last night. I want to give you the email address to my vet who started out working as Tyson Chicken's vet for the state of Mississippi. Now he is a regular private vet of small animals. I'm so glad I was already taking my cat to him! Anyway, I'm going to PM you with his email address and you can ask him questions. Hopefully he will respond to you in time to help, but in the meantime, try calling vets in your area to see what they would recommend right NOW! Praise God your Big P made it through the night. Now it's important to know what antibiotic, dosage, and frequency plus diet needs she should receive. I'm so happy for your courage and success.
