*Update*Help somthing atacked Big P(NEW Pics pg9)

Oh fantastic job on the stitches!!! I'm so glad its looking so good.

I would suggest something to keep that area moist and soft, for when those stitches need to come out - you don't want the skin to get all dry around there. If not neosporin then vit e oil.
I would suggest cleaning it off two or three times a day and re-applying the oil or neosporin.

Anyone have any idea's on using that liquid bandage stuff?

*wildsky, everybody-- The problem is Jeff has left the outer skin open because the crop stitches are not desolvable. Its been- oh- goin on 3 days-- We're thinking somehow we gotta get this closed-- soon!! That's why I sent up the AHOD hollar. . . .

Seems that you have her sewn up pretty tight. But i would wrap that in gause as tight as she can stand. because she is still very vulnerable. make shure you keep her clean around that area and watch her for pecking at it. this is going to be the hard part is keeping infection away. just keep it closed and feed her lots of vitamins to build immunity.

* Jeff, Do you have her on antibiotics??? No to bactine (sorry, SH)-- The chill it causes when you use it means it has Something drying in it. *rooster-red, I LIKE the liquid bandage idea--maybe for the skin edges?? Something is teasing around my brain on this. . . .bu . . Saline on sterile gauze and saran-wrap is all that's coming at the moment.
