First baby is here! and popped the zipped shell while I was looking, so cute! This is one of my mystery assortment eggs, brown egg, yellow chick (appears that way while wet anyway!)
hallelujah!!!

It will be long night since of course I'll have to check every other minute to see any progress-- today is day 21 for some and day 19 for the others, it will be a long week I guess! The one pipped isn't even the one I was watching wiggling-- go figure

congrads Revelu on upcoming arrivials. I have 7 eggs left of 8 on day 21 Rouen duck eggs in the bator. Question (it's my 1st homegrown egg hatch) do I stop turning the eggs 3 or 5 days before the hatch date?
