First baby is here! and popped the zipped shell while I was looking, so cute! This is one of my mystery assortment eggs, brown egg, yellow chick (appears that way while wet anyway!)

It will be long night since of course I'll have to check every other minute to see any progress-- today is day 21 for some and day 19 for the others, it will be a long week I guess! The one pipped isn't even the one I was watching wiggling-- go figure

Question (it's my 1st homegrown egg hatch) do I stop turning the eggs 3 or 5 days before the hatch date?[IMG] Was just wondering figured will get good advice from those whom are in the same process.[IMG] It is 28 days for a hatch right? again congrads to all with new arrivials. [IMG] Thanks kellim I am keeping a Duck Diary so I can track turning and any noticeable changes. Any and all suggestions are welcome. [IMG]
